TUNISIAN ENTRY PROCEDURES

Tunisian entry procedures for a stay not exceeding 3 months are flexible. 
All delegates must hold a valid international passport (6 months) or a travel document allowing them to return to their country of origin after having obtained a transit or entry visa.
European citizens and those from other countries in Eastern Europe do not need an entry visa for Tunisia for a stay not exceeding 90 days. A valid passport is sufficient or an identity card no older than 10 years with a hotel reservation as part of a tour..

The TUNISIA 2020 International Conference is being held at the Congress Centre on 29 and 30 November 2016.
 The Congress Center is the greatest conference center of Tunisia.  This ancient Exhibition Centre is now used for the international political meetings and other important summits.

  • Cash :The Dinar is not convertible, for this reason it’s preferable to exchange your currency in Tunisia. It is possible to exchange currency at the hotel and in banks.
  • Cards :They are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and tourist shops. You can also use it to withdraw Tunisian currency in most large cities, airports and in tourist areas. Remember that your bank will charge you a fee for each of your withdrawals, so favour cash payments for your small expenses.
  • Banks : Most banks accept Visa and Mastercard at their counters. The banks at the airport remain open until the arrival of the day’s last flight

MMUNICATION

If you want to use your mobile phone at a lower cost in Tunisia, you can buy a SIM card upon your arrival at one of three operators at the airport and replace your regular SIM card.
